![]() Teenagers who do not get enough sleep may not only perform worse in school, but may also be at an increased risk of experiencing emotional and behavioural problems, the results of a new study indicate. US researchers monitored the progress of almost 900 teenage students. All provided information about their sleeping habits and school grades. They also completed psychological and behavioural assessments. According to the results, students slept an average of 7.6 hours per night.
