My First Love ....................?

The first thing to catch mine were the eyes,
the haze of color like the morning skies
they have an amazing magical gift,
that sets my logical heart adrift.....


They never failed to put a smile on my face,
The way she used them with all her grace
Hoping that her glance would someday come to me,
and my thoughts she would also some day see…


The next thing to note was her ravishing hair,
the way she put them, was her natural flair
setting them in place from time to time,
…felt like music...like grace…like rhyme….

I couldn’t believe it when I heard,
More sweeter was her voice then a bird,
I feared that if I uttered a word,
To her it may sound quite absurd….

Before that day, I had never seen so sweet a face,
The day my heart left it usual dwelling place…..
I knew that someday I would have to stand before her…
and tell her quite frankly that "I Adore Her"
