Default New LG KF600 handset

LG has come up with a new handset - the KF600. The phone is reminiscent of the kind of buzz the Chocolate managed to create. The KF600 features a unique InteractPad for navigation and an impressive finish and design that will get most people drooling over it.

The LG KF600 is a beauty of a handset. At first glance, it looks impressive. The chrome edge and the mirror glass face give it a great look. The face consists of two screens - one 2-inch and the other 1.5-inch. While the 2-inch screen is the primary screen, the 1.5-inch screen is the primarily a touch navigation of the phone which can also at times be an extension to the main screen

The slider hides the alphanumeric keypad of the phone.

The KF600, with its InteractPad, makes possible a number of things; you have handwriting recognition when typing out a message, zooming and panning for images, scrolling and sweeping through menus. The handwriting recognition is pretty simple and accurate for most of it.

There is a volume control button to the left which is basically the hotkey for starting the music player. The headset, USB cable, and charger port are hidden behind a hard plastic dust cover.

The back of the phone features the camera, and has a rubberized plastic finish which gives quite a good grip to hold the phone. The camera is located outside, and hence it's not necessary to slide open the phone to start the camera. The LG KF600 is available for about Rs. 14,000 with a one-year warranty.
